Teriyaki Salmon Bites

Ingredients:

  • 2 six ounce Villa Salmon portions, thawed and cut into 2 inch uniform cubes

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp green onion, chopped

Marinade Ingredients

  • juice of 1 lime

  • 3/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 thumb fresh ginger, peeled and minced

  • 1/2 fresh jalapeno, seeded and diced

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions:

Put all marinade ingredients in a medium sized bowl and whisk to combine.

Place salmon cubes into marinade and let marinate for 15 minutes.

Heat a sauté pan on medium heat.

After marinating, remove the salmon from the marinade and set aside.

Pour the marinade into the heated sauté pan and let simmer for several minutes, stirring until the sauce becomes a thick consistency.

Once the sauce starts to thicken, add the salmon cubes to the pan, cooking on each side for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.

Coat the salmon cubes in the sauce. Plate and garnish with sesame seeds, green onion and a lime wedge.
